Tzav-7
Embracing Heroes,
Creating Israeli Hope
A leading non-profit organization supporting the physical and mental rehabilitation processes of IDF and security forces soldiers.
The Tzav-7 Association is a ray of light and hope for many IDF and all members of the security forces in Israel who are dealing with post-traumatic stress and crisis situations, those who are fighting for their lives even on the day after the war. The association was established in the first week of the outbreak of the Iron Sword War by Avraham Yedid, a disabled IDF post-traumatic stress disorder, a resident of Ofakim, a Border Guard soldier and former policeman, and David Schwartzstein, a Jew resident of Australia, a true Zionist, who came especially to Israel to help in any way he could. The two founders of the association did not enlist in the war in Order-8, but decided to enlist in Tzav-7 – and to support our heroes, since we received Order-8.
In Avraham’s view, coping is not just a personal struggle, but a call for social change that will allow those who have been psychologically damaged to create as many opportunities as possible for rehabilitation, processing experiences and rebuilding a routine..

What do we do?

The circles create an inclusive environment, lasting connections and a significant sense of belonging in the rehabilitation journey.

Among the activities: therapeutic surfing that helps deal with fears and build self-confidence, a therapeutic horse farm that offers a deep emotional connection, jeep tours that provide an experience of partnership and adventure, and more.
Tzav 7 In the field
The Tzav-7 association works in the field for security forces personnel in the south and north, with an emphasis on support, connection and empowerment. Activities include hosting soldiers in designated areas such as “Ohel Avraham”, where hot meals are served, rest areas are held, and moments of relaxation are provided in a homely atmosphere. In addition, the association organizes unique bonding days that include “on the fire”, experiential activities, and workshops designed to strengthen the participants’ sense of belonging and strength.
